sanartArthur and Sandy Barry were baptized into Christ on June 4, 1976.
They worshipped with the Church at Endwell, NY for three years before moving to Sidney, NY where Arthur was director of maintenance for Susquehanna Airlines. He had been trained in the U.S. Navy as a jet mechanic and then attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical school of Maintenance Technology in Daytona Beach, Fl. In Sidney the Barrys planted a church in their home and baptized several people. Arthur attended the Northeast School of Biblical Studies from 1983-85 after which time the family (including five children) moved to Manchester, England and worked with the church there for five years. Returning to the U.S. in 1990 they worked with the Church in Butte, Montana for two years then with the Church in Anchor Point, AK for three years before returning to NY State to work with the Church in Ithaca where you will find them today. Sandy is a Spanish teacher for the Dryden Middle school. In 2009 their children bought them tickets to England for their 40th wedding anniversary so they could fulfill a twenty year dream of walking across England. The photo was taken on the third day of that walk in the cemetery where William Wordsworth is buried in Grasmere.
